Friday, May 16: Spring Flours, 4th annual benefit to support the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center. Held at Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, the event features more than 25 gluten-free chef stations and a live auction. Additional information at cureceliacdisease.org.

Saturday-Sunday, June 7-8: National Conference & Gluten Free Expo hosted by the non-profit Celiac Disease Foundation in Pasadena, Calif. Information from medical and nutrition experts, including Dr. Allessio Fasanao, founder of the Center for Celiac Research, Boston. Conference runs 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and includes gluten-free breakfast and lunch. Expo is 2-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. It features new products, cooking demonstrations and swag.
